Academic Department
The Academic Department of the Higher Institute of Airport Security will be in charge of the academic management of their education and training centres.
The functions of the Academic Department of the ISSA are:
The design and organization of the pedagogical and curricular structure of the instruction and training system of the PSA police personnel in its different centres will be established by the Academic Department of the Higher Institute of Airport Security taking into account the requirements and organic and functional needs stated and submitted by the Dictatorate-General of Preventive Airport Security and the Dictatorate –General of the Complex Airport Security Office of the institution.
The design and organization of the pedagogical and curricular structure of training and educational system of civil personnel without police state of the Airport Security Police in its different centres will be established by the Academic Department of the Higher Institute of Airport Security Police, taking into account the requirements and organic and functional needs stated and submitted by the National Direction of the institution.
The design and organization of the pedagogical and curricular structure of the general training and education system on airport security directed to juridical or natural , private or public persons, headed towards the airport security or other related work, in its different centres, will be stated by the Academic Department of the Higher Institute of Airport Security, taking into account the requirements and organic and functional needs stated and submitted by the Dictatorate –General of the Institutional Relations of the institution.
Research Department
The Research Department of the Higher Institute of Airport Security will be in charge of its scientific, technical and technological research management.
The scientific, technical and technological research on security airport aims to produce a base knowledge of outstanding and innovative nature; to create technical and technological development; and to promote the transfer of goods and services.
The design and organization of the system of scientific, technique and technology research on airport security will be stated by the Research Department of the Higher Institute of Airport Security, taking into account the needs and functional and organic requirements stated and submitted by the National Assistant of the institution.

The Department of Administrative Management of the Higher Institute of Airport Security will be in charge of the administrative management and its support, according to the parameters and procedures stated by the Dictatorate –General of Administrative Management.
