Organizational - Functional structure of the Airport Security Police
The organizational – functional structure of the Airport Security Police is composed of three different structures:
:: The leadership and management structure, mainly composed of officials and civilians, without police state;::The operational structure, mainly composed of police personnel;
:: And the Higher Institute of Airport Security, composed of officers and civilian personnel without police state, with the exception of the staff who performs teaching and specialized instruction tasks. The carrying out includes the management of knowledge on airport security, the strategic planning of the institution; the design and development of policing strategies, and superior organizational management. As far as it is concerned, the administration takes on the responsibility of planning and budgetary execution, the economic, financial, accounting and assets negotiations; the integral administrative management, human resource management; the technological planning and management and infrastructure of the institution, legal assistance and institutional relation management of the institution. And, the operational structure develops four main institutional tasks: the planning of the operations and police actions of preventive and complex airport security; the management and coordination of the police operations of preventive and complex airport security and the monitoring and evaluation of the preventive and complex police operations and actions of airport security.
